Junglegirl.

Wild and untouched, forever untamed. She hears the earthsongs and the moon sonnets that whisper into her heart. Always alone, she searches for her tribe, looking for the lost ones who might feel pull of the forest. She howls at the moon, lostdaughter, fierce and free.

Hello Avonelle :)

I've tried to go deeper in your idea, illustrating the symbiosis between the girl and the nature.
You can see the result here :

First off, I think that your image is a BEAUTIFUL take on the original image! Elegant and surreal, and incredibly powerful! You really did capture the relationship between the earth and the girl, each one connected and intertwined, neither complete without the other! Thank you for providing the link, and posting credit on your page.

Just to be on the safe side, I would recommend that you contact the photographer of the image, Dennis of Loox. I have a link to his work on this page. He owns the copyright to this photo, and he is the one to talk to about seeking permission to edit his original piece.

I think that your rendition is stunning, I really do. And since you are doing it for the fun, not profit, AND you have credited the original sources, I certainly don't mind. In fact, I am more than a little honored! Hehe. But run it by Loox first, just to avoid any copyright infringement mishaps. :)

I am truly honored that you like my work.
I tried to register on the site "modelmayhem" pointed to your link. But the registration process is long and I think that their server crashed tonight ...
If you have the opportunity to talk to the photographer before then, feel free to send him the link to my work.
I hope I will be able to contact him soon.

Thank you again for your message. It made me really happy!
:) :)

Priestess, shaman, guide. . . teach us the beauty of your spirit. share your heartsong with us. Teach us to hear the earthsongs and moonsonnets. Whisper to our hearts. humble us with your howl. . .

Such a fantastic image of such a beautiful person!
I LOVE your description too!

How I can teach the earthsongs to a shaman who already hears them? Let our voices raise up together to chant to the moon, heartbeats keeping tempo with the palms that tap against drums. Teach others to see the beauty and the magic everywhere.
